This website is run by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We have designed it to be used by as many people as possible. The text should be clear and simple to understand.

• Not all IDs of active elements are unique. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criteria 4.1.1 (Parsing).
• Error messages on some forms are unclear or lack clear association with particular form controls. This fails WCAG 2.1 3.3.1 success criteria (Error identification).
• Some images do not have an appropriate text alternative. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criteria 1.1.1 (Non-text content).

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.

Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

How we tested this website

This website was and is being tested for compliance with WCAG 2.1 A and AA standards. We carry out testing internally using the Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM) approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test.

We also carry out regular accessibility testing using independent external suppliers.
